Nicely toned and with clear details. Some scattered light marks and scratches and minor edge chip not affecting devices.
Though it can be far from definitive, Göktürk attributes these interesting silver fractions to Laranda, dating them to the revolt of Laranda and Isaura against Balakros, Alexander the Great's Cilician satrap. Balakros was killed attempting to suppress the rebellion, but Laranda was ultimately captured and razed to the ground in 322 BC by Perdikkas, regent of the Macedonian Empire following Alexander's death.
Historical Notes:
Laranda was an ancient city built on fertile lands in central Anatolia. From the 6th century until the conquests of the region by Alexander the Great and his successors, Laranda was ruled by satraps of the Achaemenid Empire. Though it was destroyed in 322 BC, it was subsequently rebuilt and became a popular base for pirates in the region.
